Three exclusive one off specials

Just a little note to let you all know that three special one off pieces have been added to the online boutique under 'Unique Corsets'. I made these a while ago and they have been just hanging on the rail, un worn but muched loved...I would retail pieces like these for around £269.00 but selling these for a mere £134.99 fully steel boned and most definately unique.

On August 3rd 2009 I lost my Brother Alan to a most dreadful Industrial disease Asbestosis. For months we watched in vain as he faided and became to frail to carry on his fight for other sufferers of Plural Plaques.......alas then there was knothing we could do to elevate his suffering.
Elaine his daughter and my niece has now picked up the baton here's her story...

It's a terrible thing watching your Dad die.
It's even worse when you know that the reason he's sick is because of asbestos. My Dad died of Mesothelioma, and like many men and women he developed it after suffering from Pleural Plaques; a deep scaring of the lungs caused by asbestos. My Dad was fortunate as he was given compensation. This meant that, before he got ill, the money gave him the chance to make the best of the worst of situations. But thanks to the decision of three unelected Law Lords, compensation for conditions like my Dad's has been taken away. Now people diagnosed with Pleural Plaques - often caused entirely by asbestos exposure at work - cannot claim a penny. It's a disgrace. My Dad gave many of his final hours to campaigning for justice for Pleural Plaque victims, he's not around anymore so I've taken up the fight on his behalf.
The Government are making a decision on Pleural Plaques right now and I need your help to make sure they make the right decision. Please take a moment to email Alistair Darling and Peter Mandelson now. It's horrible to see someone you love go through such a painful death; you feel so powerless. When I was growing up I thought my Dad could do anything, but his disease changed all of that. And it's because I saw the help that compensation gave to my family, I know the real cost the families who don't receive compensation will have to pay.My Dad was always a Labour man and stuck with them through thick and thin. Now I need your help to make sure that this Labour Government do the right thing for the thousands of men and women who suffer from Pleural Plaques. Please take a moment to send the politicians a message and join our call for justice:http://www.unionstogether.org.uk/page/m/6e20ef78/6e22da17/3c1ff8ea/524f476a/2136369395/VEsC/I've taken on this fight for my Dad - it was his final wish. I hope you join us.Thank you for reading my email,Elaine ClarkP.S. If you want to learn more about my Dad and his story he's in this video: http://unionstogether.org.uk/justice

Hi and Good Morning all.

I'm having to close the 'Christmas Corset' Order book a week early as my book is now full for this year. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all my customers of 2009 for giving / showing me their support and loyalty by ordering / purchasing from me through what has been for many a difficult year. Lets hope 2010 proves to be a better and prosperous year for us all. I will be re-opening the corset order book on January 8th 2010
